Boxford:The PTO has planned an evening of science activities for kids and families - - lots of hands on experiements, etc.The evening will start with a "mad scientist" show for kids by by Mad Science, a New Hampshire-based educational company. After that 10 science stations will be set up around the school, each run by a Boxford parent that works in a science-based professon (engineers, nurses, chemists, etc.). Last year one dad built a hovercraft out of a leaf blower and gave kids rides on it. They also froze veggies with liquid nitrogen, made baking soda and vinegar volcanoes ... fun stuff like that.
